The Cottage of Can Còdol is characterized by its quiet setting surrounded by nature, ideal for a getaway with family or friends. However, there are many interesting places to visit throughout the area, and that will certainly not leave you indifferent.
The municipality Maians is characterized by a rich culture (architecture, landscape, holidays, food, etc.) that comes from the time of the Iberians and Romans, and you will find many points of interest nearby the Cottage of Can Còdol. For example, the Romanesque chapel of “Sant Pere” that has magnificent views of the mountains of “Montserrat” or “Cogulló de Can Torre”. At this point you can enjoy an spectacular view, and not only because the landscape but also due to be considered the most central point of Catalonia. From here you can visit the hermitage of San Miquel, a pre-Romanesque construction of the ninth century, and the church of “Sant Marc”.

In Balsareny you can explore the castle, in Collbató the Saltpeter Caves, In La Pobla de Claramunt the Castle of la Pobla, and in Tossa de Montbui his Romanesque church.
